Last Days of Summer at Fort Hunter Mansion | Izzy + Austin Engaged
Izzy and Austin were torn between Fort Hunter Mansion & Park and Wolf’s Hollow. It was a tough call but I advised the former. They were bringing along their adorable pup, Kylo and had an outfit change. I’ll be honest, there is a LOT of walking involved at Wolf’s Hollow and with all the moving parts for them, I just had a feeling Fort Hunter was just the ticket for them.

Recent research has shown that play is a big part of our well-being, both mental and physical. I started reading more about this phenomenon after listening to and photographing Doc Trish earlier this year in California. 7 Tips to Keep You from MELTING During Your Summer Shoot
Let’s be real. Where I live in Pennsylvania the weather is only “perfect” for about ¼ of the entire year…maybe. And so, guess what? That’s when ALL the weddings happen…April/May and September/October. This means that your engagement or portrait session will most likely happen during one of the “other” months. It’s probably going to be a little cold or a lot hot.
