After giving Alicia lengthy instruction on a pose we were working on for their session, I joked as I often do to Paul about it being all about the girl. He laughed generously but then later admitted that while everyone says that wedding planning is all about the bride, he actually wants to have a part in the planning process too….It’s his wedding day too! And, I couldn’t agree more.

“We are also planning to bring Luna if that is okay. We don’t have anyone to bring along to help but we have a long leash and she’s pretty well behaved.”

Recent research has shown that play is a big part of our well-being, both mental and physical. I started reading more about this phenomenon after listening to and photographing Doc Trish earlier this year in California. Now, I watch for people who “play” with each other more rather than focusing on (and worrying about) all the tiny insignificant details. Let’s just say, these two have that covered. I’ve never met a couple who were so willing to laugh and play together as Kerri and Michael. This session was SO MUCH FUN.
