Fall in the Hollow | Danielle + Paul Engaged

“We are also planning to bring Luna if that is okay. We don’t have anyone to bring along to help but we have a long leash and she’s pretty well behaved.”

Now, I’ve been doing this long enough not to panic but even I had a moment of, “Hmmm. She’s well behaved, huh?” LOL Well, Luna WAS incredibly well behaved. Like SO SO SO good. I am not sure we could have pulled off such a successful shoot otherwise. I always say including your dog is very similar to including a non-verbal toddler and I typically suggest bringing someone along to take your dog for a walk except for when needed so that you aren’t distracted and can focus on each other but it was mid-week, mid-day we basically had the place to ourselves AND Luna was just superb. Except for little whimpers here and there, she sat quietly waiting by park benches for her doting parents. What a good girl. I’m so glad I got to meet her in person. It was even better than meeting her over Zoom initially.

These three cuties had the perfect session for them. We started early with thick cloud cover and even got a peak of sun right at the end. Spectacular. The colors of fall were in peak season this week and did not disappoint at Wolf’s Hollow County Park. Oh, how I wish it was closer to home so I could go regularly with my family.

Danielle and Paul are getting married next September at French Creek Golf Club in Elverson, PA. I can’t wait to meet their family and friends. If they are anything like Danielle and Paul, it will be a fabulous day.

Danielle and Paul, thank you for trusting me with helping you choose your location for your engagement shoot. I know how stressful that can be. Everything worked out so splendidly just the way you had wanted. I do hope you LOVE this sample of my favorites. And, because I know how hard it is to wait, there are some surprises in your inbox RIGHT NOW so go check if you haven’t already seen.

XO - Megan
