Racing the rain in Elizabethtown, PA | Caroline + Luke Engaged
Sometimes there is rain in the forecast, and we go for it anyway. This time of year, in mid-November can be tough. Rescheduling just means higher chances for colder and colder temps. It’s a rainy season though…
A Fall Wildlife Preserve Engagement Shoot | Anne + Alex
How am I so lucky to meet these amazing people I get to photograph? Sometimes I just have to sit back in awe of my job and who it brings into my life.
Flower Crowns, Toddlers, Bellies and Lovers: an Elizabethtown, PA Family/Maternity Session | The Imes Family
Kai, now 2, was born much earlier than expected so they didn’t have a chance to have maternity photos taken for their first pregnancy. The baby girl Stacey is now carrying is their last (at least that’s the plan at this point), so this was an important session to Stacey and Jut.
A Star Barn Engagement Session | Shannon + Thomas
It’s not every day the groom is the property manager at their venue. It’s not every day you get a backstage pass to The Star Barn and its ENTIRE property. We were able to drive all around the property with all Thomas’s knowledge about great photos spots. Shannon brought 3 outfits (!!!) and we had a blast together.
Stephanie + Anthony | A Winter Elizabethtown, PA Engagement Session
Declan was born the exact same month as my little Finn so when Stephanie and Anthony asked it if was okay for him to come to the engagement session I, of course, said YES! Whether it’s your fur baby or your actual baby, it is ALWAYS your choice to bring them along to your session. The only thing I ask is that you bring someone along to watch them so that the MAIN focus can be you two and this incredible journey you are embarking on together called marriage.

Parenting is the hardest thing we will ever do. Period. You can argue with me all you want. You may say X, Y, Z is more difficult but I stand firm. The difference with parenting to other difficult life situations is that inside each of your children is a piece of your own heart that lives forever in theirs. Whether or not you made that child yourself does not matter. It happens the moment you decide to take on the responsibility of raising that child. When your child’s heart aches, so does yours.
