Lancaster County Mommy and Me Family Session
Even in January, Lancaster County really is a beautiful place. Carolyn and Kal brought all the color and life needed to their Winter Mommy and Me Family Session as usual. I took Kal’s 1-year-old photos last year and now Kal is 2! He still gives the BEST hugs on the planet. You know those hugs that just make you melt. He drapes himself over your shoulder and really snuggles in. WHAT A CUTIE PIE! Also, unlike any other child under 3 that I have ever met (mine included), he stayed right where I put him and let me take photo after photo. My back, at 35 weeks pregnant, truly appreciated that. He is a sweet, loving boy who LOVES his momma….SO MUCH. Those two have a very special bond that is apparent the moment you meet them.
Last year, Carolyn and I tried getting Kal and Finn together when Carolyn was visiting her Lancaster County family from Philadelphia where she lived at the time but it just didn’t work out. On Saturday, all the stars aligned and Finn happened to be driving home by our session location right at sunset on his way home from the Zoo with his Daddy so they stopped to say hello and they were able to meet! Both were wearing adorable hats and I just ate it up. They are two very cute kiddos. They had a little conversation, ran around a bit and then there were tears over sharing the one ball that was available to play with. 😊Kids.
Carolyn, it was wonderful to see you and Kal again. You look amazing and I love how that beautiful smile of yours shines under all circumstances. You have a loving and kind spirit that Kal has obviously inherited. You are doing a great job raising him. I really look up to you the way you make it all work and work so well. I’m so glad to know you and I’m so happy you live closer now so that we can watch our little guys grow up together. Enjoy a couple of my favorite photos from your session and the TERRIFIC two’s!!!!
