We actually completed this session a few weeks ago, but waited to share until after his birthday party this past weekend. Theresa, the planner that she is, wanted the pictures to be a surprise at the party. If I didn’t have a wedding on Saturday, I would have been there too. Seeing pictures afterwards, it looked like a blast with children galore.
P-Man is the HAPPIEST kid, like, ever. One-year-old shoots can be great…or very difficult. This shoot was seriously a piece of cake. We had everything we needed in about 10 minutes. Luckily, too, because it started pouring soon after. Pierson takes after Colin in many ways. I guess getting the job done efficiently on portrait sessions is yet another “daddy trait.” Sorry Theresa! Let’s hope he got your attention to detail and planning skills!
It’s always an honor to continue documenting my clients’ lives past their wedding days. I’ve had the honor of photographing Theresa and Colin’s engagement session, wedding day, first anniversary year, second anniversary year/pregnancy announcement (they surprised me with the news on this shoot), first family shoot, and now, this one. I’m a lucky girl—I love that the Albright family is part of the #meganhofferfamily in more ways than one.
Theresa and Colin, I’m so happy your experience as first-time parents has been so positive. You are amazing, and Pierson is so lucky to have you as his parents. Thank you for the amount of time you spend helping our clients plan their wedding days when you could be snuggling—or sleeping! We appreciate your work for us more than you could ever know. I can’t wait to watch you continue to grow as a couple through these new chapters. Love you so much!
