A Pink and Burgundy Winter Wedding at Cameron Estate Inn | Courtney & Jarod | December 30, 2023
“We want our first look to be as private as possible,” Courtney told me after asking her about her vision for that big moment, followed by their private vow reading together.—“Maybe the bridge?” I agreed and reassured her that my second photographer and I would use long lenses so we wouldn’t be close enough to hear what was being said. The relief of having a plan was visible as she exhaled and her shoulders lowered an inch.
While we carefully plan our clients' timelines, my team and I have discovered over the years that it’s best to remain flexible regarding the specific locations for each photography event until the day arrives. You never know how the grounds may look, the weather, or other factors that can emerge on that day. Fortunately, the grounds at Cameron Estate Inn feature many picturesque spots. There’s always a stunning option available.
As you can see in the images below, the bridge was truly the perfect spot. Courtney and Jarod's emotions had me tearing up, too! December weddings typically surprise me with the weather. While technically winter, it’s usually reasonably mild still in PA until after the New Year. So, with Courtney’s fur wrap, we could remain outdoors for more portraits than I had initially imagined. It was fantastic!
The indoor ceremony location, which they call the Conservatory, at Cameron Estate Inn, is a personal favorite. It’s elegant and comfortable for all the guests and vendors involved, regardless of season. My favorite part of the service at CEI is that champagne is waiting for the couple and their wedding party after the recessional to toast the new marriage. It’s such a refined touch.
The rest of the day went smoothly and excitedly as these two amazing families were forever bound together. Everyone danced the night away, and my team and I had a blast being part of this celebration. Please enjoy this little sample of photos from this beautiful winter wedding at Cameron Estate Inn.
Courtney and Jarod, thank you so much for choosing me to be your wedding photographer. You both have such big hearts and beautiful smiles. You deserve all the happiness in the world. I’m excited to watch your family grow together over the years.
