The final days of the run-up to the wedding can be stressful, so I texted Alyssa on Monday to see how she and Tyler were doing with it all before heading to Cork Factory Hotel on Thursday. Her response was perfect. She said they were excited and, being Type-A, already packing so they could have a day to relax before the excitement. I read the message with my phone in one hand and a camera in the other, ready to put into the travel bag⎯I was packing, too! Alyssa certainly found the right photography team for her. We all have our Type-A traits over here!

All her efforts were well worth it. The day went so smoothly. When I greeted her in the stunning getting-ready space at Cork Factory Hotel, she was relaxed and smiling, enjoying her day to the fullest with her friends and family. With all that preparation and an incredible vendor team, she was bound to have a fantastic day that would delight her guests. The detail everyone was talking about was Alyssa’s classic ballroom gown with a lace overcoat and cathedral-length veil—absolutely stunning. Alyssa had requested plenty of greenery in her floral arrangements, and Sandra Porterfield Floral Design delivered beautifully. The color palette was flawless. Alyssa said it was exactly what she envisioned. Her smile upon seeing her bouquet for the first time was priceless. Alyssa and Ty, oh my, what a special day! My favorite part was Ty’s expression at the first look. He was awestruck!
