Goodbye Summer Engagement Shoot at The Barn at Stoneybrooke | Annie + Nicholas
Sometimes even I am like, “Shut up. This is so gorgeous. I can’t even stand it!” Annie and Nick’s The Barn at Stoneybrooke engagement shoot was one of those moments….and processing pretty much every photo as well. I click on the next one…and gasp. Marc asks if everything is okay down there…and I yell up, “OMG these photos!” I can almost hear the eye roll through the floor….and then again minutes later as I click on the next one.
Annie and Nicholas are enjoying a nice long engagement so there was no rush to try to fit their engagement session in ASAP after booking with me. They decided to wait for the Fall colors and book their session well in advance (the only way to get a fall session with me). It had been 8 months since we first met last January before the world was turned upside down by the pandemic and I’m pretty sure Annie just gets prettier every time I see her. She was a vision. With hair and makeup by JKO and the perfect outfits…this session was KILLER. Nick looked super studdly and was SO FUN to work with. He threw Annie around like she was a feather…someone hasn’t missed his workouts through quarantine!
We galivanted all over the property at their GORGEOUS wedding venue with the colors a mix of summer purple & green with Autumn red, yellow & orange…perfect for the final days of summer. It was fun to see how the property will look for next year on their wedding day almost a year out set for October 1, 2021.
They even brought their pups…all three bundles of cuteness rescued into their loving home. They were like little teddy bears. The start of a beautiful family. If their wedding day is only half as perfect as this day was, we are GOLDEN.
Annie and Nick, I can’t wait to meet the rest of your family and friends on your BEST DAY EVER next year. I can’t believe I have to wait another year to see you again.
