Cornell + Miller The Barn at Stoneybrooke Summer Wedding
She stood watching the door. Her fingers clutched the layers of her flowing, white wedding dress that had been laid out perfectly around her. The door handle moved. The white door swung open and she breathed out finally. There he was. The one who showed her what a man’s love should be from the day she was born. Her dad. He grinned from ear-to-ear and walked up to her with her mom and sister watching from the other side of the room. As he embraced her there was no mistaking the tears behind the smile. I don’t think Ralph and Bonnie could have possibly given their daughter away for less than perfect love. They, along with Jason’s parents, Doug and Cindy, watched with such emotion as their children exchanged vows that would bind them and their families together for the rest of their lives.
The entire day was filled with incredible emotion. It really was fun to capture. A photographer’s dream day. There was a HUGE bridal party of 16 of the most amazing men and women there in full support of their friend’s marriage. They were all so welcoming and easy to work with. I felt like I was part of the group from the moment I walked into the bridal suite to the sparkler send-off at the end of the night. Every single vendor worked together seamlessly to bring Kristin and Jason’s best day ever to fruition. A real dynamite team at an amazing venue. No matter how many weddings we “do” every one is unique and special to each of us. It’s why we do what we do. For the love of love!
Kristin and Jason, I couldn’t be happier you two found each other so early in life. Your love legacy began with your parents and you are setting out to continue it. Thank you for the opportunity to capture your love during this most important time in your lives together. You are a dynamite couple and I can’t wait to see what amazing things you will accomplish together over the course of your marriage.
