Amanda + Tim's Fair Hill Engagement Session

We had all the cards stacked against us for this session. Rain in the forecast. Tall trees in already dark conditions. Fog. So much fog! Amanda said it was a regular occurrence at Fair Hill in Elkton, Maryland. Shooting in dense fog was a first to me. The original shooting plan went out the window, we made adjustments, laughed through it and the photos below were what resulted. <3 Fair Hill is such a wonderfully special place. It is the most horse-friendly place I have ever been. I was there for the first time to watch Fair Hill International, an amazing equestrian event. I even rode my first paperchase with Harvest View Stables there. So fun! It was the perfect location choice for this couple.

Ahhhhh. These two are truly special. Amanda is about to become a physical therapist and shares a love of horses with me. She exercises racehorses 6 days a week and rides with her mom whenever she can. (So jealous….my mom never rode. Maybe Rita will ride with me!) Tim is working towards an engineering degree and lifeguards in his spare time. What a couple! They talk about their families with such love and joy, I’m incredibly excited to meet everyone in November when they get married at The Barn at Stoneybrooke. I almost feel like I already know some of their family!

Amanda and Tim, thank you for putting your trust in me with the weather. I am so in love with your engagement photos. Tim, you get the award for the easiest to pose man. Ever. Amanda, I’m so glad you had the opportunity to work with Andrea at Shades of Blush. You were so stunning. I can’t even imagine how amazing you are going to look on your wedding day. And, I get to photograph you!!! Ahhhhh! So excited!!! I hope you enjoy this handful of my favorites from your session. Your full gallery will be in your inbox soon!

XO – Megan
