A Playful Engagement Session at Ott’s Exotic Plants | Krista + Alexander | 8-22-2021
“It’s my turn now!” Alexander said enthusiastically after we finished a set of photos where he was pulling his gorgeous fiancé, Krista, with a green plant cart at Ott’s Exotic Plants in, Schwenksville, PA on Sunday. The store had just closed and I had already taken at least a thousand shots of the two playful lovebirds but we just weren’t quite ready to part ways yet. We all still had some spunk left in our step so we decided to play. We played with carts, climbed on a tractor and we got into all sort of shenanigans.
It was THE BEST!
You might be surprised to learn that this was the rain plan. Yep! The forecast called for drenching rain all day long when we checked the evening before the shoot. We had planned on shooting on their horse farm 20 minutes from Ott’s but with so much rain in the forecast it was sure to be muddy even if it wasn’t raining hard at the time of the shoot.
Rather than try to reschedule during peak wedding season or wait until next spring, Krista got creative and called Ott’s. We found that for a small fee we could shoot in and around the greenhouse. Sold! And, I’m so glad we did. It was incredibly refreshing to try something new and get creative in new ways. I think you’ll see the joy and fun we had radiating from the photos below!
Krista and Alexander will be married next July at The Barn at Stoneybrooke. What a great match location for fellow horse people. Not everyone knows that The Barn used to house our 4-legged equestrian friends back in the day. We are going to have SO MUCH FUN on their best day ever. I cannot wait to meet everyone!
