A Fall Engagement Shoot in Lancaster, PA | Erin + Adam

Erin + Adam Engaged-31.jpg

No one wants to reschedule for rain and it becomes an even more difficult decision the further away the drive is for the couple. Erin and Adam already made the tough choice to reschedule a few weeks ago and for this day, we woke up to solid rain in the forecast from noon on. I knew they had almost an hour drive so I messaged them with a heavy hart explaining their options. Most would have rescheduled…again to play it safe but Erin kept a positive mindset and chose to get ready right away and start the shoot ASAP in hopes to beat the rain. There was no guarantee that it wouldn’t start raining at some point during the session (there never is!) so I met them the moment they were able to get there and we started shooting right away. The hourly forecast showed the rain pushing back more and more and by the end of their shoot, not a drop had fallen. We even ended sitting in the *dry* grass as they snuggled under some beautiful fall foliage.

Erin and Adam will be married in August 2021 at The Booking House in Manheim, PA. I cannot wait to see them again already and meet their friends and family.

Erin and Adam, I’m SO glad we were finally able to meet in person. I hope I helped make all your worries melt away throughout the session. I think you two are just the sweetest humans and I’m so excited you found each other. I hope you LOVE this sample of my favorites from your fall engagement session at Lake Grubb. And, because I know how hard it is to wait, there are a few surprises in your inbox RIGHT NOW, so go check if you haven’t already seen!

XO - Megan
