Cyndie + Kyle’s Parque Ridley Creek Engagement Shoot
Two weeks passed from first contact to meeting at Parque Ridley Creek for their engagement session. Without being able to officially meet in person before booking, it was fun to get to meet in person so soon after our initial emails.
Knowing they wanted to get married this year, Cyndie and Kyle knew they had to be on top of it when it came to booking their vendors and lost no time contacting the ones that were most important to them. After sealing the deal with the venue of their dreams, Historic Ashland in Wrightsville, PA, they booked with me after one email.
Now, if you follow me regularly, I know what you’re thinking: “Megan, you said you weren’t taking any more 2021 weddings.” Yes, I have been as booked for this year as I wanted to be (even more so) for quite some time but, you know, there was just something about them…I had to be there with them when they say I do. I love their kind, intelligent decisiveness. It’s hard to explain but they are just my kind of people and I couldn’t turn them away. I mean, October is supposed to be crazy for photographers, right?
We lost no time getting their engagement session on my books and decided on Parque Ridley Creek to complete their shoot. The stunning architecture mixed with raw nature in the woods was stunning on this sunny, warm winter day.
They laughed at my silliness, followed every direction and enjoyed the time together creating these stunning images draped in lemony sweetness. The photos speak for themselves. Enjoy!
Cyndie and Kyle, its was lovely to meet you in person. I am incredibly grateful I decided to say yes to you. I already can’t wait for your wedding day.
