A Rainy Spring Wedding at Historic Acres of Hershey | Christina + Andrew | 5-30-2021

Christina + Andrew Wedding Blog-1.jpg

It was the sweetest aisle moment I’ve witnessed to date. Christina and Andrew chose to have a  traditional timeline to ensure the vision they had of their wedding ceremony, seeing each other for the first time at the alter, happened…and it was worth it! Sheltered from the misty rain in the packed Barn at Historic Acres of Hershey; when Andrew caught a glimpse of his bride rounding the corner, this normally calm collected poised man welled with emotion. I found a little surprise inside his ring as I was photographing the details and it was obvious in this beautiful moment that he truly meant it. Go find out what it is in the photos below!

Between the two of them, Christina and Andrew don’t have a ton of time. To be honest, I received a record low number of emails from them the entire year after they booked with me. These two amazing humans had the common sense to hire the right team to help put together, plan and execute their wedding day so that they wound’t have to put their busy lives on hold to make it happen.

MX2 was a dream to work with. I have always considered putting glue in my “Mary Poppins bag” as many people call it, just in case an eyelash came loose but never actually did because I didn’t know which one to purchase. Well, it’s good it happened at this wedding because the moment Christina’s lashes loosened, David was right there to put them back in place for the evening. Amazing!

Other than that one little slip and a little rain, the entire day went off without a major hitch! There was a space for everything and an amazing vendor team to serve this large crowd to a T! I was particularly impressed with the service and presentation by Mountain Laurel Catering…always an A+.

Tina and Andrew, I hope you truly enjoyed your beautiful wedding day. I can’t tell you how happy I was to be able to get so many photos of the two of you outside even with the weather as it was. It really turned out to be a gorgeous day! I loved that we were able to open up all the doors in the pavilion to truly experience all that Historic Acres has to offer. I am honored to be your photographer and I hope you love this little sample of photos from your wedding day. And, because I know how hard it is to wait, there is a surprise in your inbox RIGHT NOW so go check!!!
