Kelsey + Craig's Lovely Lititz Engagement Session

Me: “It looks like the skies are going to open up for a real storm and then it will be over”….so I changed the starting location at the last second. I planned on ending Kelsey and Craig’s Lititz, PA engagement session at Lititz Springs Park in hopes of a dispersing crowd at the end of the night but the coming storm was sure to clear the park…for a few minutes! A few minutes was all we got. We waited through the storm in our cars as the drenching rain and blustery wind plowed through the park sending it’s inhabitants scattering, leaving items left and right. And as soon as the weather passed, we jumped out of our cars, hugged meeting for the first time in person and fast walked like hipster teens to the bridge in the middle of the park in hopes of a few clear shots. We got them! And, Kelsey and Craig were amazing through it all.

A first for me: I almost got clobbered by a falling branch. It landed with a CRACK about 2 feet in front of me as I walked across the bridge. My heart skipped 2 beats as I realized how close I came to getting hit with it. I laughed it off, but wow!

After a wardrobe change we headed over to Linden Hall with special permission to shoot on their grounds for the remainder of the session. Kelsey and Craig lucked out with the entire spectrum of weather. They had rain with the clear umbrella, a misty fog as it cleared, the sun came out in full force and partly cloudy skies to round out the evening. What fun I had with these two beautiful souls. Kelsey is from a big family with sisters galore and Craig is from a smaller family with a huge group of friends to balance them out. Their wedding day in September of 2020 at The Barn at Stoneybrooke is going to be a BLAST! I can’t wait to meet everyone!!!

Kelsey and Craig, thank you for driving all that way for your engagement session. I love your photos and I hope you do too. Have fun with this sample of my favorites from your ridiculously fun Lititz engagement session. And, because I know how hard it is to wait, there are a few surprises waiting for you in your inbox RIGHT NOW so go check!!!

XO - Megan
