Over the past year between Jenna and Aaron’s micro wedding last summer on 6-6-20 at Wind in the Willows and this year’s vow renewal celebration I’ve wondered: What do you do at a vow renewal celebration? AKA: Your original wedding panned was ruined by COVID so you got married anyway but still want to party with your friends at some point.

And the answer is…whatever you want! This gorgeous country chic wedding was a combination of their original wedding plan and a laid back “let’s just have fun” day with their friends.

Jenna and Aaron have been with me on my books for over 2 years now so when people ask me, “how are you so close with your clients?,” this is why. I have known them and followed their stories from the time they booked with me. When things happen in their life, I’m there to hold out a hand to offer help. I’m there like family because my clients are just that to me. Family.

It was fun to see all the similarities and so many differences between their wedding day and their celebration. The biggest difference was their sweet pup, Leo, went from a bay pup to a full-grown poodle boy! It’s always a dream shooting sunsets at Wind in the Willows. The expanse of the venue grounds were MADE for sunset photos. If you only have ONE minute, quickly scroll to the end to see those. I am quite proud of my work and just how dreamy Jenna and Aaron are together.

Jenna and Aaron, what to say after all this time? I adore you two. Aaron, your quick subtle humor. Jenna, your quiet care for others. You two were obviously made for each other and I’m so happy you found each other. Thank you for choosing me to be your photographer.
