A Lancaster City and Central City Park Engagement Shoot | Holly + David | June 4, 2023
Let’s be real here. City shoots are difficult. You have to contend with cars, signs, unpredictable lighting, distance walks, reflecting surfaces, and even heckling homeless people. The results….WORTH IT! It did make it a little easier to meet at my studio in The Candy Factory to change clothes and for ease of parking as well.
Holly sent her outfit ideas ahead of time and I couldn’t help myself getting a little *extra* excited. I could picture it all already and knew it was going to be a knockout shoot.
You see, Holly and David had been guests at a 2019 wedding I shot and Holly has even been the Maid of Honor in another wedding I shot back in 2022 as well. So, I already knew them and remembered how detail-oriented Holly was…a super power over here in our books.
Being the focus of my camera is different though and I’m so happy I was able to give them their own experience. I think we nailed it! Scroll down to see and let us know in the comments if you agree!
They will be married at Huntingdon Valley Country Club in September 2024 and I cannot wait to meet the rest of THEIR people. It’s bound to be an amazing day!
Holly and David, it was a fantastic experience to photograph you two together, finally. I’m so happy for you. 7 years goes by so fast and I’m glad your turn is finally here. I hope you love this little sample of photos from your Lancaster City/ Lancaster County Central Park shoot as much as I do. I think the music made them even a bit better, if that’s possible! 😉 Thank you for driving over 2 hours for this. And, because I know how hard it is to wait, there will be a little surprise in your inbox later today. So, don’t forget to check!
