Branding Session with Candice Hozza | Lititz, PA
She walked in the door to INU Salon and Spa at the Rebelle Lancaster event to speak and I liked her immediately. Candice was warm and welcoming. She smiled constantly and when I introduced myself as the photographer for the event and that I’m a hugger with arms wide open (this was before COVID-19…and I hate that I have to say that) and she exclaimed, “ME TOO! Oh Good!” And wrapped her arms around me for the best hug I had had in a while.
I shot the event like any other but when she received the photos afterwards, she was astounded that I had captured some photos she had been wanting for a long time and she said, “I didn’t even ask you to do that for me!”
Candice helps entrepreneurs tap into their intuition when it comes to decision making in their businesses. She speaks at events, does one-on-one training and holds her own events as well.
When it came time to update her branding photos, she gave me a call. Now, it wasn’t easy to find hair and makeup at this stage of the game post quarantine, but Studio 8 in Lancaster saved the day.
The session was, admittedly, boiling hot. Originally we planned the session for mid-day, indoors at Hotel Hershey but by the time Candice changed her mind to Lititz, PA, outdoors, I was on my unplugged vacation and she was left to decide for herself what to do. Good thing she is an expert on intuition! We held her session at the original time, mid-day. It was about 100 degrees outside and the sun was almost straight overhead. But thanks to the top-notch staff at Linden Hall (who I was able to secure permission to shoot on-campus from) further allowing me to shoot in places on campus that would normally be off limits to visitors (Michael, you are the BEST!) and the tall trees at Lititz Springs Park, Candice and I made some magic together.
Candice, it was SO good to see you again. What an honor to capture your essence and energy. I can’t wait to see what amazing things you do with these photos. I couldn’t be happier with how they came out. I hope you LOVE this sample of my favorites from your branding portrait session on Monday. And, because I know how hard it is to wait, there is a surprise in your inbox RIGHT NOW, so go check! XO - Megan
