The Barn at Stoneybrooke Pink and Blue Engagement Session | Caitlin + Steven
We must have considered about 8 different location ideas before landing on the most obvious option staring us right in the face…The Barn at Stoneybrooke, their wedding venue. Caitlin, Steven and I live a considerable distance apart so finding a location that was doable for everyone…including their sweet pup, Kota, was a challenge. The Barn couldn’t have been more perfect. They had the opportunity to see the grounds this time of year which is the same as they will be married next year and soak it all in. The best part: we also got a celebrity guest appearance from Jenn herself, the venue’s owner who couldn’t resist a chance to chat up one of her couples. You gotta love Jenn. She’s such a gem!
The weather was perfection and so we were able to use the entirety of the grounds for the shoot. Kota posed pretty and was a very good girl with her pup handler/Steven’s groomsmen while her pup parents galivanted around for the rest of the session. Caitlin’s wrap skirt for her second outfit complimented Steven’s colors perfectly and twirled like a dream…We made full use of it.
Caitlin and Steven, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued flexibility and understanding through all the rescheduling and location changing. I will never forget how incredible you have been to work with. I am SO excited for your wedding day next year! I can’t wait to meet the rest of your people! I hope you love your photos as much as I do and I can’t wait to create more for you at your wedding.
