If you know me, you know I am never at a loss for words. I’m a “talker.” I love people. I love stories. Most of all, I love to tell stories about the people I love. Bringing out the beauty I see in other people for the world to see is what lights my heart on fire and breathes life into my soul. Telling stories with pictures is my very special niche but when I can pair words with those pictures it deepens the impact of the story that I want to tell that much more. Brittany and Brandon have put me at a loss for words in the best kind of way. They are the embodiment of why I do what I do and why I do it with my entire heart each and every single time I go out to shoot. I sit here at my desk, looking at their photo story, not knowing where to start because I could tell their story for about a hundred different angles and they are all amazing. So, here I go. When you don’t know where to start….start at the beginning….

The fist time I talked to Brittany over the phone I was impressed with how detail oriented she was. She was keenly aware of the complicated nature of having a getting ready location, ceremony location, portrait location and then reception location but was excited for the challenge….I immediately liked her. We met for their engagement session in the fall of 2018. The fall colors were in full effect and they completely trusted my judgment with how I artistically saw the location she chose (a beautiful road she has run along with her father and now also walks the dogs along with Brandon). It was stunning. Brandon was rather quite for much of the session letting Brittany and do her thing. He was polite and easy to work with but he didn’t say much….until I asked him about his dogs and Penn State…we were immediate best friends. I also found the he and Brittany enjoy beer tasting here and there just like Marc and I. We missed each other at Dogfish Head Brewery in Lewes, DE by a day over the summer!

When I met Brittany and Brandon’s family and friends on their wedding day, it was no surprise that they were equally amazing. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and awesome people tend to hang out with other awesome people. There were smiles the entire day. The party was the biggest I have seen and there were special surprises around every corner. It truly was Brittany and Brandon’s BEST DAY EVER. From the beginning of the day to the end, Brittany’s smile could light up the entire room and Brandon is just the best host EVER. I swear he danced with EVERYONE and didn’t stop ALL NIGHT. It also helped that he is so tall that he towered above everyone….I always had a clear shot of him and he was always smiling and singing! The Nittany Lion made an appearance and the entire day was JUST AWESOME. The pictures tell the rest of the story. And like I said, I just don’t know quite how to convey in words just the depth of what big hearts these two people have. I hope they have a dozen kids just like them. 💕💕💕

Brittany and Brandon, I had imagined what I would say in this blog post to be truly magical but then, as I sat here stumped on how to begin, I realized that YOU and your family and friends are the magic and nothing I could say could ever quite capture that the way the photos and knowing you in person could. You are both incredibly kind, caring, smart and fun all at the same time. Thank you for choosing me and for making me feel special the way I always try to make my couples feel special. You made me feel seen and appreciated and I hope you know how precious you are to me. I hope you LOVE your photos. Enjoy this sample from your BEST DAY EVER!!!! XO – Megan P.S.
