Becca + Chris’s Pond View Farm Summer Wedding Day

They stood there those three…the dads. Becca’s dad started. Mic in one hand, speech in the other he started relaying stories from Becca’s childhood. From beginning life with two black eyes from her twin sister to her hangry beach proposal story, Gary told Becca’s story from his perspective. I’ve now photographed Gary giving away 2 of his three daughters and I will say, it is not something he takes lightly but does with his entire heart. And, for as wonderful a man as he is himself, Gary greets equally great men into his family’s lives through marriage.

The room applauded. Sean was next. He took the mic from Gary and started by introducing himself as Chris’s dad then immediately corrected himself to say “one of Chris’s dads” then promptly gave Tom, Chris’s step-dad, a high-five. My heart swelled. You couldn’t ask for more supportive parents. Tom wrapped up the pre-dinner speeches with all around tears. This man was made to give speeches. Becca and Chris couldn’t be luckier to have such amazing parents in their lives.

There was rain in the forecast for the day but there were no worries from the couple. Becca says it has rained for every single special date they have ever had…so it would be fitting. Becca and Chris’s Pond View Farm wedding day was surprisingly perfect though. The only rain they had was late in the evening after everyone was tucked under the shelter of the reception barn dancing the night away to Jenny Z’s music.

Becca looked stunning in her Blush Bridal wedding gown and every detail was attended to by Pond View Farm’s excellent staff. Guests enjoyed a real pig roast and a popcorn and candy bar followed by a smores bar at the end of the night.

Becca and Chris, it has been so special getting to know you better from last November until now. We all have so much in common I hope we can all stay in touch over the years. I am so grateful to social media to help with that. You both have amazing talents to share with the world. I can’t wait to watch you grow your lives and your family over the years. You’ve already made your home something so very special, I can’t wait to see what you dream up in the years to come. Your wedding day was amazing and I am so happy to have been there with you on that day as a part of your memory. I hope you LOVE this sample of photos from your BEST DAY EVER!!!!
