Abby + Mark’s Fort Hunter Mansion Engagement
We met at Abby’s brother’s wedding last July and so when Mark proposed in November, they knew just who to call for photography! I was technically booked for the year already but I consider the families of my couples my family as well and, of course, I made room in my schedule for their September, Stone Manor Country Club wedding this year. They live in Germantown, Maryland and drove almost 2 hours for their session in Harrisburg at Fort Hunter Mansion. It was worth the drive! What a spectacular location! And, with rain and clouds all day and for the start of their session, somehow, they lucked out with a golden sky just as the sun set. I can’t believe I had the umbrellas in the car just in case! They brought along their super sweet pup, Pepper, who was perfectly behaved. She sat and stayed, came on command and hung out with Uncle Ben and Aunt Laura when it was time for Mom and Dad to shine on their own.
Their Maryland wedding in September at Stone Manor Country Club is going to be a beautiful celebration of their love. After a 10-year courtship, it will be a very special day. I can’t wait to see everyone! Please enjoy this sample of my favorites from their session on Sunday.
Abby and Mark, I had a blast with you all on Sunday. It was awesome to see you again.
