Caitlin + Devon’s Spring Stone Mill Inn Engagement
“Whisper something in her ear.” This may have been the first time I have ever asked a client to do this. While I will never know what he said, Devon took it to heart and the photos from that moment choke me up a little bit. See if you can figure out which set it was and comment. I would love to know if you can tell. I have a feeling there will be a lot of emotional tears on their wedding day at Stone Mill Inn in August in front of my camera and behind.
It was my first time at Stone Mill Inn so my second photographer Elyse and I arrived early to walk the property. Upon setting out we were promptly greeted by the owner himself to say hello and welcome us. The warm, friendly vibe was continued by his wife who greeted us at the inn and welcomed us inside to have a tour. She chatted us up in her native Irish accent (my favorite…I could listen to someone with an Irish accent talk all day long) and showed us every room in their expansive and exquisitely designed and decorated inn. There are fireplaces in every room!!! We even got to snuggle their sweet 10-year old golden doodle (who is black!) Kerri.
Caitlin and Devon were walking up as we exited the Inn and ready to get started. Their session was dappled in warm spring sun. The flowers were just starting to bud and we were able to envision their wedding day unfolding as we moved through their session. Between the woods, the beautiful structures and the fountains and the patio we felt like there was no end to the photo opportunities. Please enjoy this sample of my favorite photos from their session and enjoy the beautiful day today!
Caitlin and Devon, I can’t tell you just how excited I am for your wedding day. Every detail is a dream. It is going to come together perfectly. I can’t wait to meet Lunch Box, Snack Pack and the whole crew! I hope you love this sample of photos from your session and because I know just how hard it is to wait, there are some surprises in your inbox RIGHT NOW so go check!!!
