Emily and Nathan’s Romantic Muddy Run Engagement
Nathan wasn’t exactly excited for his engagement session on Sunday. He’s an outdoorsy kind of guy who likes woodwork…not taking pictures in the woods. But, there’s this one characteristic that all of the guys I work with seem to have: he would do anything for his fiancé. Just to give you an idea of what I mean, he keeps a “cold kit” in the car for her. It includes a blanket and other items to keep Emily warm…which happens often. And the way he looks at her….my heart was mush by the end of their amazing session. I think the photos speak for themselves but really I don’t think he had a terrible time….I might be as bold as to say he had a fun. I mean, how could he not when Emily looked as stunning as she did and we were in a place to meaningful to them. It was at this very spot that they shared their first kiss. Emily grew up not far from Muddy Run Park hiking “bottom lake” and “up top” with her family and quickly shared the spot with her new flame Nathan when they started dating. The best part was recreating their first kiss moment for them on the rocks by the dam. Epic shot by epic shot, we worked our way through the different locations around the park. The sun behaved for us. We had shade for the locations we needed shade for and the sun popped out at the end for dreamy sunset photos….I’m still reeling over it all. Believe it or not, these are just a few of my favorite takes from our session on Sunday. I hope they brighten your day just a little. They sure do make me smile.
Emily and Nathan will be married at Chestnut Hill Villa in Manheim, PA in October this year. I was technically booked for the year when they contacted me but on their contact form, they (well, Emily) mentioned a beautiful color palette, pearls and food trucks for catering. How could I not? I mean, come on….FOOD TRUCKS at Chestnut Hill Villa!!! I also fell in love with her PEARL engagement ring when I met with them…check it out in the photos below and tell me you don’t love it too. Well done Nathan. Well done.
