Winter Styled Elopement in Purple
She had participated in countless styled shoots but never had one of her very own….then she had a vision. Snow. Purple. The perfect dress. But how do you guarantee snow? Tiffany already had the perfect dress. That was easy. She owns Tiffany’s Bridal Boutique in Stevens, PA. Next, she started putting together her crew. One-by-one the vendors climbed aboard the styled shoot team. The potential was there with so many talented people coming together….but location. Snow? Ah-HA! Mountain Ski Resort! The plan was to drive to Blue Mountain Resort where they have the most spectacular view and ceremony site AND GUARUNTEED SNOW! Before she knew it, bowties were being hand made, rentals picked out, flowers ordered, linens written on, cookies and candies made, and a string quartet was recording music for the video crew’s soundtrack. Her vison was coming to life…and then some!
The staff at Blue Mountain Resort were helpful and fun to work with. They were even so helpful as to let us know that on the day before the shoot the weather forecast was such that it would be impossible for us to make it up the mountain to complete the shoot.
Noooooooooo! Catastrophe!
Should we reschedule? Not possible with so many people involved and perishables ready to go. With snow in the forecast for everyone, I made a judgement call…. I asked everyone to trust me and meet me at a local spot I knew would work for the vision…as long as it snowed….but not so much that everyone could both get there and get home. Yeah. Cough. Fingers crossed.
We must have all had combined good karma because, as you can see in the photos, IT. WAS. PERFECT…PERFECT. They speak for themselves, so take a look. But, before you do, let’s all give a round of applause for all of the talented professionals involved:
