Chelsea and Joseph’s Elverson, PA Romantic Engagement Session
“Trust me?”
If I say these words to you, it’s basically code for, “Your photos are going to be like a fairytale even if it is not the original plan.” Chelsea and Joseph said yes to that question and, well, the photos speak for themselves. It MAY or may not have been public or private land. No one told us we had to leave. 🤷♀️ The original plan was to take all of their photos at the Sunflower field at Please Wash Me Carwash in Elverson, PA but when I pulled in early to check it out before their session, it was PACKED. Now, I can always get the shot…and I did in the end but I knew it would be frustrating for all if we tried to do an entire session in the full sun and with people all around us so we diverted to a little spot I had found on a previous shoot that was only 12 minutes away. I’m going to go ahead and toot my own horn here. Toot, toot! It was rather spectacular. Also, it was supposed to rain for their session. Some things are just meant to be.
Chelsea and Joey were their loveable, adorable selves and were absolute troopers about the bugs and mud after all the rain. We hiked through an entire hay field from one side to the other to get the shot and it was SO worth it. The way they are together, it’s like they have already been married for years. They are so sweet and comfortable with each other. They have this very kind, loving vibe to them that I adore. If you know me well, you know I am a fireball of energy on a shoot. So at times, I’m pretty sure they were laughing at me quietly to themselves with their fun-loving quiet energy over in the grass….with the bugs. 😜
Chelsea and Joseph, I had THE BEST time with you. Thank you for trusting me. I’m so excited to be your wedding photographer. I can’t wait to see you at The Barn at Stoneybrooke in June of next year. If your engagement session speaks anything to how your wedding day will go, we are going to have the time of our lives. I CAN’T WAIT!!!!
